A lovely Antique heart locket from the mid Victorian era (Circa 1860). The piece is 9ct Yellow Gold back and front and features wonderful images of swallows and Forget me nots on both sides.

The images on the locket have heavy romantic symbolism. Forget me nots carry a message of love and remembrance and swallows represent faithfulness as they’re known to mate for life.

The locket is in excellent condition and complete with windows and rims within so two cherished photographs can be stored.
